Directions: Print the pictures onto the backs of the flashcard pages.  I also created a template with names so I could print my girls' names onto the backs of their flashcards, since I will have 2 sets in our house. {Same as the ABC flashcards.}

Some activities include:

• Put in numerical order
• Match number with same number of objects (cheerios, toy cars, stuffed animals, pennies, etc.)
• Name the number when using as flashcards 
• Pair with matching amount of change

·      Match Uppercase & Lowercase letters

·      Name letters when used as flashcards

·      Phonics chant: A, /a/, apple, etc.

·      Name the letter using the picture side of the card

·      Sing ABC song pointing to each corresponding card

{field trip} fire station

The kids had fun learning about our local fire station and were very interested in the gear the firemen get to wear.  We love to go on field trips to get into the community around us and to let the kids be kids and ask the real questions that they have!
