{may: week one}

Color of the Month: Rainbow
We are close to finishing up our Brown Bear art collection books that we have been working on throughout the school year.  We have one more color to explore {brown} and then we can bind our books and practice reading them so we can share at our Moving On Up Graduation Celebration!

Shape of the Month:  Review All
We played with our pattern blocks and reviewed the names of the shapes as we shared our pictures.

High Frequency Word:
Mother's Day:  Necklaces
Each student painted his or her own plaster heart with acrylic paints and added details using various colors and toothpicks.  When they were dry, Ms. Carlie added a heart shaped photo of the student to the back.  A ribbon was added and tied to make a necklace.
