Vases of Vs {Uppercase and Lowercase Letters}
This idea was taken from the Education Center's Circle Time from A to Z. {Each student had a flower and had to determine if the "flower" v was a capital letter or a lowercase letter. Once each student made a decision, she placed her flower in the vase that matched the case. We checked all of the letters after to make sure it was correctly identified.}
On the Vine {Letter Identification}
This idea was taken from the Education Center's Circle Time from A to Z. {We actually didn't play this sound game, since I never finished cutting out the Vs before the week was over. Give each student a letter. If it is a "V" she can add it to the vine (green ribbon) or it is placed to the side if the letter is not a "V."}
Nursery Rhyme: Little Boy Blue
