{rainbow rice}

I checked out this blog post here, here & here to get my recipe for dyeing rice & noodles.  I haven't tried the noodles yet.  Maybe the week after next. :)

My recipe for dyeing rice:
Add 4 cups of rice to a gallon size Ziploc baggie.
Add 10 or so drops of red food coloring {i finished off my little bottle}
Add 7-8 squirts of hand sanitizer
Zip {keeping bag full of air} & shake.
Pour onto 2 cookie sheets
Spread out the rice & set in the sun to dry


We also made the letter A with our Wikki Stix and one of my students was so excited to match it to the letters we had written the previous preschool day.
